Bio:

Fritz is a young man with almond-shaped blue-green eyes, and a head of auburn hair that seems a whole bunch of different colors, depending on the light and what new magic he’s been experimenting with. His build is short and stocky, enough that people often mockingly wonder aloud if some gnome blood somehow got into the Vanderboren line. His tastes seem to dovetail with that joke, as he loves nothing more than tinkering, building and designing. Instead of studying magic itself, like most who become so fascinated by the workings of the world, Fritz has instead dedicated his clever mind to the study of magic items, designing, refining, and getting them to work in inventive new ways.

Unfortunately, he has difficulty applying his considerable intellect to any sort of practical pursuit. His mother, Agatha Vanderboren, is constantly after him to refine his business sense and learn to invent things for a particular niche in the market. Yet, to Fritz, nessecity is not the mother of invention. AWESOMENESS IS!

Fritz usually makes his wands out of gemstones mined in New Barbas, finding them to hold a magical charge better than wood, metal or ivory, and he uses his gemcutting skills for many other magic items.
